BURRIANA’S beach roundabout is to be a thing of the past.
During a meeting with the Nerja Business Owners Association, the local government has committed itself to dismantling the roundabout, which was constructed in the area of Burriana beach by the former governing team in an attempt to reorganise traffic towards the underground car park.
Most of the complaints were related to the narrow space left by the roundabout which made it difficult for vehicles, especially buses, to turn.
“The complaints put forward by the association regarding this structure added up to a previous study the current government was carrying out after receiving dozens of complaints from other residents at the town hall,” read a statement released by the council.
