Arrested for 12 break-ins in Arta

A MAN, 42, was arrestred by Guardia Civil for his alleged involvement with at least 12 break-ins in Arta.

He allegedly broke into houses and businesses at night and stole jewellery and cash.

Guardia Civil report that he was a suspect from the outset of the investigation, as he has an extensive criminal record and is a drug addict.

He had sold several pieces of the stolen jewellery to a shop in Manacor. Many of the victims of the robberies have recovered their belongings.
