BENIDORM Bus Station is in urgent need of some TLC. The busy terminal located in the tourist capital of the Costa Blanca welcomes over 700,000 people a year; however, it is in a serious state of neglect and has been criticised by travellers as well as locals.
For many the building appears almost derelict, with the first floor completely abandoned. It is slammed as being dirty, with rubbish-strewn floors and disgusting bathrooms.
It is in dire need of fresh paint and repairs. Those that have used the terminal also complain of frequent problems with the lifts and escalators. The company responsible for the maintenance of the terminal has been sent a formal notice by the town hall to rectify the issue.
