Queen Sofia’s long Mallorca holidays

QUEEN Sofia has extended her summer holidays at the Marivent Palace in Mallorca.

She is always the first to arrive on the island and has been seen alone and with the rest of the royal family this summer. She has remained in Mallorca this year for the inauguration of the headquarters for Proyecto Hombre Baleares, an organisation which has been working for 28 years to help people get out of drug use and back into society and which has always been close to her heart. 

She met with the president, Tomeu Catala and uncovered a mural that thanks everyone who has helped the facilities to open for their contribution.
