Festivals draw crowds to Villena

TWO music festivals held in Villena during the first half of August brought an estimated 30,000 people to the area and had an economic impact of about €2 million, the council has announced.

Next year, the Leyendas del Rock (Rock Legends) festival, which local mayor Javier Esquembre mentioned as a great way to promote the area as a tourist destination, will be held on August 10-13, promoter Marcos Rubio has already announced.
