Velez-Malaga’s high-tech business park to open soon

WORK at what are thought to be the most modern and tech-oriented business facilities in the whole of the Axarquia region will soon be set in motion.

The local government of Velez-Malaga is to approve the regulations that will allow the town’s new Parque Tecnoalimentario to get to work. This park is to serve as a kind of ‘business incubator,’ in which new and established companies from across the Axarquia and Costa del Sol will be able to grow.

“Several months have gone by since the construction work was finished and the town council believes it is important to speed up the paperwork for all those interested in basing their company’s headquarters in the park,” said head of the park, Maria Santana.

Regulations will define the guidelines for the use of boardrooms and training rooms as well as the buildings’ timetable and other matters.

Forty-seven requests have already been registered from companies interested in having a space in the area.
