Donald Trump expounds election policy

Donald Trump, Republican presidential candidate, gave a number of insights yesterday (August 17) into his proposed policies if elected US President. He said that he wanted to end the automatic right to citizenship for all children born in the United States. Under the Constitution, all children born in the US – even if their parents are there illegally – automatically receive citizenship.

In addition, he wants to increase visa fees in order to pay for a wall to run along the Mexican border.

Currently one of the front-runners in the campaign to become the next Republican presidential candidate, he has indicated that he would deport undocumented immigrants and increase the number of immigration officers by cutting tax credits currently made to illegal immigrant families within the US.

If those who are deported can prove that their children were born in the US and that they themselves are ‘good people’ then they will be allowed back.
