Barcelona lose in the 2015 Super Cup

In the event that a team wins both La Liga and the Copa del Rey, the runners-up of the Copa del Rey, in this case Athletic Bilbao, played against the winner of both La Liga and the Copa del Rey, which was Barcelona.

This is only the second success in the Supercopa for the team, which only recruits players from the Greater Basque area and has left Barcelona fans both surprised and upset although there will almost certainly be more silverware for their collection by the end of this season.
