A summer of decadent food at Restaurante Christopher

SUMMER is sizzling at Restaurante Christopher.
Established for over a decade, Christopher’s is nestled in the heart of Mar Azul, Torrevieja, away from the hustle and budding and the madding August crowds. It is one of the most welcoming and friendly eateries along the coast with first class cuisine which is why it is one of the Euro Weekly News’ favourite restaurants.
Established for so long and with many returning customers, it would be easy for Christopher’s to rest on its laurels but they continually strive to produce new menus and dishes to offer something different to customers.
Throughout the summer, specials including succulent Galician steak and 20-day mature T-bone steak and fresh lobster is available daily.
With lots of variations to the evening a la carte menu for regulars and visitors alike, one thing that remains constant is the traditional Sunday lunch.
Their Sunday menu has all the same flair and finesse as their evening a la carte menu and comes with the friendly and dedicated service you would expect from Christopher’s.
For just €12.95, there is a choice of 10 starters every week and a minimum choice of 10 mains. As well as the traditional offerings of prawn cocktail and soup, there is an eclectic and exotic selection including Cajun chicken salad with a chilli mango drizzle and fillet of beef carpaccio.
The mains include fish dishes for those looking for a lighter option and for the meat lovers try the confit of duck and roasted silverside of beef, it will not disappoint. Desserts are as delicious as the previous two courses and will delight anyone with a sweet tooth and if all that food leaves you feeling a little full then you can take full advantage of their location and walk it off with a stroll along Torrevieja’s seafront.

Christopher’s is open Tuesday to Saturday from 6pm to late and for Sunday lunches from 1-4.30pm. Tel: 600 012 824 or 965 710 007
