Young man dies after fight outside club in Totana, Murcia

A 29-YEAR-OLD Moroccan male died on Sunday morning outside the Discoteca Millenium in Totana, Murcia.
It would appear that a scuffle had started within the club and then spilled out of the building to become a major street fight with as many as 30 people of different nationalities being involved.
The local police and Guardia Civil broke up the fight but found the as yet un-named man lying in the street having clearly been beaten repeatedly. When health services attended, it transpired that despite their attempts to treat him he had died of heart failure. An autopsy is to take place to identify actual cause of death.
Statements have been taken from a number of witnesses and so far five people have been detained.
