Cartagena police out in force to stop drink driving

CARTAGENA police are clamping down on drink driving. A special campaign is running throughout the municipality this week in collaboration with the DGT traffic authorities.
For drivers found to be over the limit of 0.5mg/litre of exhaled air, the fine can be up to €1,000 with the loss of six points on your licence. For readings between 0.25 and 0.5mg/litre, the maximum fine is €500 and the loss of four points.
