Malaga’s blood bank prepares

MALAGA’S Regional Blood Transfusion Centre (CRTS) is urging people to give blood on Thursday and Friday (August 13-14) to increase the amounts stored in preparation for the city fair.

The centre, at the city’s Hospital Civil, is open from 9am to 2pm to take donations from those wishing to give blood and save lives. 

Those who have not given blood in Spain before are advised to ask first as in some cases it may not be possible due to regulations regarding people who have lived abroad.
