A 17-YEAR-OLD Dutch girl died on Monday (August 10) when she fell from an viaduct in Cedeja, near the village of Cabezon de la Sal (Cantabria), as she was preparing to do a bungee jump.
According to the 112 emergency services, the young girl was with a group guided by an adventure and sports company when, for reasons still unknown, she fell from the jumping area at a height of 40 metres, onto the dry riverbed of the Cedeja River.
The emergency services were alerted at around 8.30pm as well as the fire brigade, Guardia Civil and a team from the Red Cross.
