Mijas Town Hall, Málaga, Spain.

THE two top men in Mijas have kissed and made up, at least for the cameras, following a private meeting at which they agreed to maintain the pact between parties and get on with running the town.

Mayor Juan Carlos Maldonado from Ciudadanos party and Angel Nozal, currently deputy mayor from Partido Popular, had been squabbling since the local elections, when Nozal lost the majority and had to sign a pact which took Maldonado to the top.

Yet the two appear to have finally sorted out their differences, and have now promised to work to reach agreements on issues which have caused problems in order to provide stability within the council team and work in benefit of the town and its citizens.
