TWO Romanians, aged 30 and 22, were arrested by National Police in Palma for using stolen or forged credit cards to purchase large quantities of tobacco to resell.
The couple was arrested after the owner of a tobacconist found their behaviour suspicious and called the police. They were found nearby attempting to purchase €970 worth of cigarettes in another tobacconist. They had reportedly already spent at least €2,500 in different shops.
