Bancosol run food drive in Costa del Sol

BANCOSOL, the Costa del Sol food bank, is running a food drive on Friday and Saturday (August 7-8) on the Costa to collect for people in need.

Over the two days, those able to spare a little something for the hundreds of families in need the food bank caters for are invited to make donations at Supercor supermarkets between Torremolinos and San Pedro de Alcantara.

Collection points will be well marked, and non-perishable foodstuffs such as oil, legumes and cereals will be accepted by volunteers.

Bancosol stores food and distributes it through various registered charities and associations to guarantee products reach those who need them.
