STAGE SCHOOL: 120 students went through their paces.
THE San Rafael July Festival of the XVI Escola D’estiu in La Nucía was held in the playground with a large public attendance. More than 200 enjoyed watching the 120 children go through their paces, each class demonstrating considerable skill and artistic creativity.
Beatriz Perez-Hickman, councillor for Social Welfare, was in attendance and also Esperanza Puerta, councillor for Equality.
The theme was ‘Dances of the World,’ with each of the groups showcasing a dance from Africa, Spain, Hawaii, Egypt, India, Brazil and the USA. Diplomas were presented to 155 students who participated in the show.
