Costa Del Sol French-speakers association raise for charity

THE Costa Del Sol French-speaking association raised €2,000 for Asociacion Valores charity for the disabled at its event on July 23 on Marbella seafront.

A cheque for the amount was presented to the charity on Monday (August 3) at a ceremony attended by Marbella’s Social Rights Councillor Victoria Morales and the presidents of both associations, Françoise Chery and Josefa Navarro.

Chery said that the French-speaking association’s aim had been to raise funds for the charity, which carries out important work for young people with disabilities.

The charity president meanwhile explained that the funds would be used to continue paying the employee that takes users to swimming sessions.
