ANOTHER boat has been located off the coast of Torrevieja with nine immigrants on board.
The Guardia Civil intercepted the boat offshore as the Red Cross team reported the Algerians were in good health although “tired and dizzy” having spent three days at sea without food. One of the men did require medical treatment for a burn on his right hip.
Their identities are being checked to see if minors are on board with the Red Cross saying they believe that three of them are under the age of 18.
It is the second boat to arrive in the waters of Torrevieja. Just last week a boat arrived with 11 North African immigrants on board.
