RESIDENTS at Royal Beach in Calahonda are celebrating the launch of a new, free public car park in the area which has been prepared by the council.Until recently, locals had to park up to two kilometres from their homes due to lack of parking spaces in the area, which has been solved by the creation of the new area with space for 90 cars by McDonalds and Royal Beach.Community president Rafael Almagro said: “It was a nightmare before, this new car-park will change our lives.”ADEMIJAS jobless peoples’ association will be providing surveillance services from 10am to 8pm to ensure cars are safe.
