Golfing for a good cause in La Cala de Mijas

A GOLF charity day is being held this Sunday, August 2, at Calanova Golf Club in La Cala de Mijas to raise funds for Freddie Farmer Foundation, a UK charity for children and youngsters with cerebral palsy and serious mobility problems.
The competition, with a 9.30am shot gun start, is a Texas Scramble with teams of four, but single players are also welcome. Tickets are priced at €50 to include 18 holes, buggy, lunch, fantastic prizes and live entertainment from some of the coast’s top entertainers, and non-golfers are also welcome for lunch and the entertainment for just €10.
