Oil giants due in Malaga port

TWO huge oil rigs, West Taurus and West Eminence, are due to arrive in Malaga port in August.
Port authority president Paulino Plata explained that the rigs pose no risk as they will be empty and they will remain in Malaga while waiting for a new destination to be agreed upon.
The last time a rig docked in the city, in 2003, it stayed a year, and if the two due to arrive from Brazil stay as long the port can expect an income of almost €1.5 million from the visitors.
