GUARDA CIVIL in Alhama arrested a Moroccan man accused of having stolen a car in Almuñecar.
Police said the 36-year-old man took the car and drove to Torrox (Axarquia, Malaga), where he broke into a different car and stole all the items he found inside.
From there he is reported to have driven the first car to Ventas de Zafarraya (Granada). There, he allegedly opened two other cars by force, stealing several objects from within. It is claimed he then entered a bar and ordered a drink that he never paid for, according to police.
Guardia Civil was alerted by residents of the town and caught the man shortly after, finding several items, allegedly taken from several cars.
The man was taken into custody and charged with burglary and driving without a permit.
All items have been returned to the owners and the man was remanded to prison.
