AT LEAST seven people have died in an explosion at a fireworks factory in southern Italy, local media has reported.The huge explosion at the Bruscella factory in Modugno, near Bari, is believed to have seriously injured several more people and a resulting fire is threatening to move into nearby forests.While police investigated the cause of the blast, firefighters and ambulance crews were at work at the scene.The factory was busy preparing fireworks for festivals many Italian towns hold at this time of year.
