Try Nordic walking under a full moon

Nordic Walking CV has been offering Nordic walking adventures for many years and now they have added a twist to the fun and exhilarating experience.
Nordic walking uses poles to turn a walk into a full body work-out, and on Saturday August 1, the group has arranged a night walk from Guadalest to the sea. The walk will be lit by the brilliance of the full moon. There will be a 20 kilometre slight descent using the wide riverbeds of the Guadalest and Algar rivers. Participants will be collected by coach from Altea and taken to the Guadalest dam.
For less experienced walkers the start will be four kilometres further down the riverbed. The walk starts at 9pm and finishes around 2am.
Walkers need to have appropriate shoes and a head torch. It is advisable to take some energy bars, fruit and water.
The cost is €12 for residents and related Nordic walking club members and €17 for others.
Included in the price is transport, insurance, an official t-shirt, snacks and some surprises.
