A STAG do joker was arrested at Glasgow airport over a fake bomb placed in the groom’s hand luggage that set off anti-terror protocols.
According to The Sun newspaper, as the group were going through security on their way to Berlin, the ‘bomb’ was spotted in the groom’s hand luggage as it went through an x-ray, sparking a terrorist alert.
An airport spokesperson said: “We can confirm an incident at the baggage screening area which resulted in police being called.”
It’s believed that the prankster, an unnamed 26-year-old, was arrested while the rest of the group was eventually able to continue to their holiday in Germany.
He will appear at Paisley Sheriff Court in August.
