Six migrants make a beach landing at El Campello

ACCORDING eyewitness reports, a small vessel of around three metres in length powered by an outboard motor and carrying six people, presumed to be undocumented migrants, arrived at the coast of El Campello on Thursday July 16. All those aboard managed to reach land before disappearing.
Last year, 13 such boats arrived in Alicante Province throughout the month of August.
This particular boat came ashore at approximately 11am and its passengers quickly made their way toward the N-332 to make a quick getaway.
Some clothes and other evidence of the immigrants’ sea crossing were found in the boat.
