A touch of class on our coastlines

WHETHER you are a car fanatic of not, there is one sight that turns heads everywhere: the presence of a perfectly polished and pampered classic car.
It’s a machine that the general public cannot resist to gaze upon in admiration and at the same time engage in lively discussion.
This is due to the classic car lovers that many clubs now boast a healthy membership as it has become apparent over the years that there are so many like-minded people with a passion for their motors.
Not only do classic car clubs offer a gateway to discover some of the most spectacular places to see, many are considered assets to the community and the social gatherings encourage a wealth of ideas and sharing of information.
Coast Classics is just one of the clubs founded by Andreas Ullstein and Anton Paramonova back in 2009, as their sole purpose was to promote the restoration and preservation of American Classic Cars.
Anyone can join no matter what model they own, but the car must have been built before 1982.
Another club boasting hundreds of  members is the Classic Car Club of Andalucia, established in in 2008 by Ian Giles.
The Costa Blanca is home to the well-known Phoenix Car Club that began in 2007 with a few enthusiasts who were eager to take to the roads. It now has an ever-growing membership.
Mallorca has also been blessed with the presence of classics on the roads, with the island a perfect backdrop for cruising around in style.  The Classic Club Mallorca was formed more than 15 years ago by a group of enthusiasts in Port d’Andtratx.
These are just a few of the many clubs available to join in Spain. Whichever you choose, the members have a common  interest and enthusiasm for  beautiful and classic cars.
