Woody helps raise €1,366 for Alzheimer's

A NIGHT of entertainment and generosity at Restaurant El Alto La Dolores with Woody has raised more than €1,000 for the AFA Alzheimer’s Association.
A total of 184 people packed the dance floor at the latest charity fundraising evening held at the restaurant in Guardamar with a donation of €1,366 given to Mathilde Sanchez from AFA. She said she was overwhelmed at the number of people present and thanked them as she explained what the charity does and how important each and every donation is to their very survival.
Owners of the restaurant also donated a Mediterranean cruise as first prize in the raffle.
Performer Woody is back at El Alto La Dolores, in Guardamar, on August 5, when the Restaurant and it’s organisers will be raising funds for the Children’s Care Home in Elche.
