Meanwhile a fourth accident occurred in Calle San Policarpo of Torrevieja when a vehicle jumped a stop sign and collided with another car. The strong impact caused the two cars to veer on to the path with one hitting the side of a restaurant which was fortunately closed at the time.
One eyewitness said the driver of one car did not respect the stop sign and carried on hitting the other. Both drivers escaped without injury.
