HOMES sales in Spain continue to recover with lasts figures showing a rise in transactions of 1.9 per cent in April.
But that rise has not been matched by a price rise, in fact the cost of homes fell 3.9 per cent on average year on year.
According to the General Council of Notaires there were a total of 30,758 completed sales in April with an average final price of €1,188 per square metre for new homes.
The report also added that the number of mortgaes available had risen 12.3 per cent in the 12 months up to April with the average mortgage being €122,119 (up 9.2 per cent in the same period).
