Twenty-one year-old Garbiñe Muguruza is getting ready for the biggest match of her tennis life, the Wimbledon singles final.
Due to be played on Saturday July11, she faces a tough task as on the other side of the net will be all time great Serena Williams.
Muguruza, who beat Pole Agnieszka Radwanska 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 in the semis, had to wait to see which of superstars Williams or Maria Sharapova she would face in the final. It was not too much of a surprise when Williams overcame the World number four in straight sets – it was her 17th consecutive victory over Sharapova.
For Williams it keeps alive her hopes of a calendar Grand Slam – that is to win every Grand Slam tournament in the same year. In the mood and form she is in, not many would bet against her.
