Police intensify surveillance on dangerous Alicante roads

TRAFFIC authorities will keep an especially attentive eye during the summer campaign on 30 dangerous sections of roads across Alicante in an effort to reduce accidents.
The General Traffic Department (DGT) of Spain last week published a list of 1,500 stretches of roads in the country on which surveillance will be reinforced using mobile radars.
The campaign started on Friday (July 3), and it is estimated that its first phase registered at least 400,000 vehicles on the roads Alicante Province.
The most dangerous road stretches have been identified taking into account the number and seriousness of accidents registered.
The location of mobile radars has been published on the official traffic website, so that drivers are aware of the danger and respect the speed limits.
