A GANDIA man has been detained by police after he threatened to stab his partner and throw his baby from their fourth-floor apartment in the early hours of Friday morning (July 3).
National police arrested a 30-year-old Romanian man on a domestic violence charge after claims that he had threatened to kill his partner with a kitchen knife and throw his young baby from the four-storey building in Gandia, Valencia.
Police detained the man after being alerted by domestic violence prevention workers who had been advised by 091 emergency operators after screams from a woman and her baby were heard in a call to them. The suspect, who has a police record, remains in custody.
