TRAFFIC issues can once again be expected in July in Elche as the council has announced more work on the southern ring road.Once again traffic will be restricted as work, due to last until August 10, is carried out on drainage systems in an aim to put an end to flooding in the southern part of town. The council said that traffic would be restricted between the old Santa Pola road and the Las Bayas-Asprillas road as work is done to connect the Hospital Portalada area drainage.Hopefully less chaos will be caused than when similar work was done a year ago, as the Ronda Sur, opened in March, has relieved traffic.
