What’s cooking in Nerja?

COOKING shows are all the rage on current Spanish TV and Nerja was chosen once more as the setting for yet another new production.
After the great audience success of ‘Master Chef’, the national channel RTVE is currently filming ‘Cocinero al Volante’ (Cook behind the wheel), which last weekend visited the town.
This new production for public TV is based on the ever so trendy ‘food-trucks’.
The production team, made up of more than 100 professionals and contestants, spent their day recording one of the episodes in the Plaza de España on Saturday and the emblematic Balcon de Europa on Sunday.
The show will be broadcast during this summer season, although dates have not yet been released.
