Girl takes a fatal fall from 14th-floor terrace

EARLY this morning near Valencia, an 18-year-old from Valladolid suffered a fatal fall from her 14th floor terrace. The accident happened at 7.30 am at a Gandia beachfront flat, rented with four friends for a week-long holiday.
Neighbours woke this morning to a loud noise, looking out to find the girl’s body below. According to some residents, the girls, coming back from a night out, had left their keys inside and were attempting to enter via the terrace.
The young woman had planned to depart the Valencia area today to return home to Valladolid.
Police are still investigating to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
