JOHN NOAKES, who went missing this morning from his home in Andratx, has been found.
A large search deployment launched in the area found the 81-year-old former Blue Peter TV host with low vital signs and he was taken by helicopter to the Son Espases hospital.
The 81-year-old was reported missing from his Andratx house this morning (Tuesday June 30) by his wife Vicky who had appealed for information of where he might be.
Mr Noakes, who was the BBC show’s longest running presenter appearing on the children’s programme for 12 years and six months through the 1960s and 1970s, went missing at around 8.30am.
The presenter, who was known for taking on action challenges for the show, is said to be suffering from Alzheimer’s.
