Benidorm mayor opens art students’ Summerland exhibition

BENIDORM’S NEW MAYOR: Toni Pérez opened the Summerland Exhibition at the Calvari Museu.

BENIDORM’S Calvari Museu is hosting an excellent exhibition of the works of students in their final year at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Sant Carles at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. The exhibition, entitled ‘Summerland’ will remain open until July 26.
The new mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, opened the exhibition accompanied by a number of councillors. He said he was delighted to attend an event that “encourages young artists, and promotes cultural interest in the city.”
Ricardo Forriols, Dean of Culture at the Faculty of Fine Arts Sant Carles, expressed his joy at being in Benidorm once again, explained that the title of the exhibition had been inspired by the feeling of summer fun personified by the city of Benidorm.
