San Javier Airport

A NATIONAL Police officer on duty at border control in Murcia-San Javier Airport saved a British holidaymaker’s life after his heart stopped beating.
When passengers in the airport’s check-in hall started shouting for help, the officer rushed in to find the man unconscious on the floor and grabbed a nearby defibrillator, which he used to revive the man while colleagues called an ambulance.
Once the ambulance arrived, medical staff stabilised the man and took him to hospital, congratulating the officer on his fast, efficient action.
