Nerja concert raises food and funds for hungry families

NERJA will be steeped in Spanish folklore as the Peña Nerjera choir organises the eighth edition of the traditional Coros Rocieros Choirs, all for a good cause. 

The event will take place on June 26 at 9pm at the town’s Cultural Centre for a price of €5, with all proceeds going to the local charity Nerja Solidaria. 

The event will feature choirs Peña Mareña and ‘El Lerele’ as well as the dance group Angela amongst others. 

Members of Nerja Solidaria will also place a container at the entrance door for audience members who wish to donate non-perishable foods which will be given to the town’s poorer families.
