Anti-bullfighting protests scare off Estepona market stallholder

TWO protestors from Marbella’s anti-bullfighting group appear to have scared a street market stallholder away from Estepona seafront.
On Sunday (June 21), two people from the group began protesting in front of a stall with a bullfighting theme which was displaying a stuffed bull and typical items.
Group spokeswoman Virginia Ruiz explained that they became aware of the stand on social media groups and decided to intervene.
“People don’t treat dogs the way they treat bulls, there appears to be less sympathy for some types of animals than for others,” Ruiz, one of the two protestors, said.
Police officers were called to the scene and asked for protestors to show ID, but as there were fewer than 20 people involved they were allowed to continue.
Although the protestors had intended to continue displaying banners in front of the stall on Monday, it failed to open.

Well done. Wish there was more like them, and bullfighting paraphernalia was banned as well as this barbaric business that much if Spain is ashamed of.
