ALL eyes were on Motril’s sky on Sunday as it celebrated its International Air Festival with a record-breaking attendance of more than 50,000 people.Visitors enjoyed exciting displays by international air forces including the Cartoche Dore French Patrol, the Air Force of Turkey, the Motril-based helicopter for hire Tropicopter, as well as Guardia Civil and Salvamento Maritimo aircrafts.Town mayor, Flor Almon, stressed the positive economic impact of this event, as it boosted hotel, restaurant and commerce activities and increased occupancy levels.
