FIFTEEN out of 40 drivers tested for drugs in Malaga City during a recent traffic campaign tested positive.
During the first week in June, the city’s Local Police force set up 20 checkpoints as part of the DGT traffic authority’s campaign, and a total of 361 drivers were stopped for tests.
Officers were surprised to find that just four of the total were over the limit for alcohol, but of the 40 who were also checked for drugs 15 had taken either cannabis or cocaine.
