Palma Marathon’s date released

PALMA DE MALLORCA has confirmed a huge date in its sporting calendar this year, announcing October 18 as the date of the Palma Marathon.
More than 3,000 people have already signed up and women represent 42.5 per cent of the total number of entrants, surpassing the female participation registered last year.
Runners will see a newly designed route passing some of the most beautiful sights of the city, created by Palma council’s Passion For Running project which aims to place the city amongst the top destinations for marathon enthusiasts.
The departure point and finish line will take place at Palma’s Cathedral and more than 10,000 are expected to participate in the race.
