AMUSEMENT and leisure parks on the Costa del Sol are expecting good results this year and predict their income could go up by about five per cent.
Jose Maria Yagüe, head of the Costa del Sol Leisure Business and Centre Association, said that turnover had risen by four per cent in 2014 compared to the year before and that so far this year the market seemed to be showing more life and activity.
Parks and centres on the Costa receive an average of 3.5 million clients per year, and international visitors still outnumber national ones, although Yagüe reported that the Spanish market was beginning to show its face at the parks, especially in the summer, while international visitors tend to increase in spring and autumn.
