ONE of the first issues to be dealt with in Almoradi with the new government team now in place is to sort through the accounts and the situation of police vehicles.Ciudadanos spokesperson, María Quiles, justified their vote to support a coalition formed by PSOE and the Iuen party by saying there was “the need for change requested by the residents of Almoradi.”Quiles, who will not be integrated in the government team, said the PP itself offered “positions and armchairs rather than strong ideas and programmes,” which was what was demanded.During the first plenary session of the new government, Quiles said their first demands would be to see the state of the town’s accounts and propose the selling of the official car purchased in the last legislature, with a cost of €70,000. Ciudadanos want this money to buy new police vehicles to meet the demands of the local police.
