Arboleas tends to its past

REPAIRS have begun at Pago del Molino in Arboleas.
“This type of work is always complicated,” said Arboleas mayor, Cristobal Garcia. “You know when and how to start, but can’t prepare for the unforeseen.”
The project will revive an abandoned and little-known area, Garcia explained. Originally the historic Pago del Molino structure drove subterranean waters to an old water mill, now in ruins.
“We have got down to work because this place is not in a good state of preservation. We want to repair and maintain Pago del Molino, which is part of Arboleas’ history.”
