FLAMENCA FUN: visitors enjoy the sunshine and entertainment to raise money for charity
A FULL day’s entertainment kept the guests entertained as the bars and restaurants in the Playa Flamenca Commercial Centre held a fun day event to help raise money for charity.Supported by Sunshine Radio, a day-long entertainment programme was created to raise money for The Pink Ladies/AECC cancer charity, the Elche Children’s Home, and the Help At Home charity.While the show was the main focus of the day, there was a large raffle with 50 great prizes donated by the businesses of the centre.The proceeds from the raffle totalled €1,366 and €300 was donated by Derek, owner of Goodfellas, Legends and The Landsdowne. The proceeds were split equally between the three charities each benefiting with over €550.The Pink Ladies also ran two tombola stalls and would like to thank everyone for their generosity.Maria Wilson, President of the AECC Orihuela Costa, thanked all the bars and restaurants for their support and everyone for their generous donations.
