A POSTWOMAN who threw dozens of letters in a bin in Riogordo has been found guilty by a public jury.
The prosecution has requested a three-year sentence for her, a total ban from public posts for five years and a €12-per-day fine for a period of 16 months.
The prosecutor’s text explains that the woman placed at least 241 letters into plastic bags which were then thrown into a bin at the entrance of Riogordo. The documents were found a day later by a maintenance worker who deposited them at the Guardia Civil police station in Velez-Malaga. More than 80 letters had been damaged.
